The Work We Do
Complete Residential Electrical
Outlets, Switches & Fixtures
Dead outlets, switches that don't respond, light fixtures that flicker or fail, ceiling fan replacements, bathroom and kitchen GFCI outlets. Most are resolved in a single visit.
Panel Inspection & Replacement
Panels fail, get overloaded, and age out of code. We inspect panels, replace breakers, upgrade to higher amperage, and install subpanels for additions or detached garages.
Circuit Additions
Adding a home office, workshop, hot tub, dedicated appliance circuit, or car charger — all require new circuits. We pull the permit, run the wire, and add the breaker.
EV Charger Installation
Level 2 EV chargers require a dedicated 240V circuit. We assess your panel's capacity, run the circuit, and install the outlet or hardwired charger. Most installations completed in a half-day.
Service Upgrades
Older homes with 100A service weren't designed for modern loads. When your panel can't handle what you're asking — EV charger, generator, solar, heat pump — a service upgrade is the fix.
GFCI & AFCI Upgrades
Maine code requires GFCI protection in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, and outdoors. AFCI protection is required for bedroom circuits. We bring older homes up to current requirements.
Smoke & CO Detector Compliance
Maine law has specific requirements for smoke and carbon monoxide detector placement and interconnection. We install hardwired detectors that meet current code.
Landscape & Outdoor Electrical
Outdoor outlets, deck lighting, driveway lighting, garage circuits, and weatherproof receptacles — all done with weatherproof covers and GFCI protection to code.
Our Approach
Honest Diagnosis — What That Means
The electrical trade has a reputation for finding more work than the job needs. We've built our business on the opposite approach.
When we come to your home, we tell you what we found, what it means, and what fixing it will cost. If something is a real problem, we say so clearly. If something looks concerning but is actually fine, we tell you that too.
You'll never leave a conversation with us wondering what you were actually charged for or whether you needed it.
